Community

Community is the context for discipleship. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation; we were made for a relationship with God and for relationships with each other. We belong not merely to a local church, but to a people.

Life Christian Ministry

History

April 13, 1997
  • The very first formal service was held in the Don Mills & Lawrence Public Library. The LCM stayed there for 2 years (April 1997 to October 1999)
  • (From then on, Pastor Max was the preacher, the praise and worship leader, and the driver; he will usually pick up and dropped some of the members.)
  •  (At those times, members grew through bible studies and prayer meetings.)
November 1999 - October 2000
  • LCM moved to Canadian Legion at Warden & Eglinton
November 2000
  • Number of members greatly increased so we again moved to a bigger building this time at Ellesmere and Markham, Scarborough. At this year and location
  • Pastor Max and church leaders formed four ministries, Men’s, Women’s, Youth and Children’s.
November 2003
  • We again moved to at Brimley & Sheppard, we stayed there for four months only.
March 2004
  • We again moved to at Brimley & Sheppard, we stayed there for four months only.
  • (November 2005, Ptra. Pacita’s family arrived and joined the church, after few months Ptr. Cesar Tadena became the assistant Pastor.)
January 2006 - June 2006
  • At this period, Services were held in Holiday Inn Hotel Woodbine & Steeles.
  • (While looking for another place of worship, we temporarily held our Sunday services at Holiday Inn at Woodbine & Steeles)
July 2006
  • LCM church moved to Canada Christian College.
 
January 2012
  • As a part of LCM’s mission, the Global Life Christian Ministries was opened in Philippines by Rev. Max Hilario
  • (Church stayed in this place for 12 years)
August 30, 2018
  • Due to the closing of Canada Christian College Building,
    Church moved to 3850 Finch Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario.
  • (Church did not finished the 3-year contract due to covid 19. Church decided to end the contract in August 2020)
September 2020
  • Church continued to do online services due to pandemic until April 2021.
  • (Church stored instruments and stuff at Barnes Residence during this period)
May 2021
  • (Church started in person services)
  • (Church signed one-year contract in this location
  • (March 2022 – church signed 5-year contract with the building, contract will end on April, 2027)
