Celebrate Your Exchanging of Vows With Us

The church provides the marriage ceremony for couples embarking on this new stage of life because the covenant of marriage has been established by God and blessed by our Savior Jesus Christ. In a wedding, we rejoice that two people are celebrating the beginning of their life together with specific commitments made to each other under God’s universal love. Life Christian Ministry is grateful for the opportunity to provide pastoral counseling, assistance, facilities, and worship leadership for couples of all orientations as they journey through married life.

OUR BELIEF ABOUT MARRIAGE

Life Christian Ministry teaches that marriage is ordained of God and that it is a sacred covenant between a man, a woman, and God. The Church further teaches that marriage is not only for this life, but also for eternity. In the Church’s view, marriage is meant to last forever. Because of this, the Church has very specific beliefs about what makes a valid marriage.

Pre-Marital Counseling

Pre-marital counseling is an important part of many Christian wedding services, as it can help couples prepare for the joys and challenges of married life. Life Christian Ministry recognizes the importance of this counseling and offers it as part of their wedding service.

The goal of pre-marital counseling is to help couples build a strong foundation for their marriage, addressing potential areas of conflict and equipping them with tools to navigate those challenges. This counseling can cover a wide range of topics, such as communication skills, conflict resolution, finances, and intimacy.

Life Christian Ministry’s pre-marital counseling program is designed to help couples grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. The program typically consists of several sessions with a qualified counselor or pastor, who will guide the couple through various topics and exercises.

During the counseling sessions, the couple will have the opportunity to discuss their expectations for marriage, their goals and dreams, and any concerns or fears they may have. The counselor may also use assessments or questionnaires to help the couple identify areas where they may need to work on communication or conflict resolution skills.
